This balanced Sativa/Indica cross was bred by Medicann Seeds with high yields and extra healing potential in mind. To achieve this, they brought together very distant genetics from two different continents.

Genetics
Critical Dawg’s family tree includes Critical+, which is arguably the best variety created in Spain. A choice phenotype of Skunk, Critical+ was then crossed with an American legend, Chemdawg, aka Chemdog. While the former is responsible for the record-shattering yields of the resulting hybrid, the latter has contributed its potency and diesel-like aroma.

Effects
This is a powerhouse strain whose high leans to the Sativa side to create an uplifting sensation and a happy mood. The Indica side of the genetics anchors these effects with a feeling of relaxation.

THC Levels
The breeders went out of their way to raise the levels of the healing CBD without compromising on THC content. Some reviews say Critical Dawg has 18% THC and 2% CBD.

Smell And Taste
The old-school terpene profile of Skunk inherited from one parent is complemented by a more sophisticated flavor of gas from the other. Please note that Critical Dawg is a pungent weed with a very penetrating smell.

Yields
This is one thing that Critical Dawg was selectively bred for. Indoors, yields are upward of 500g/m² (1.6oz/ft²). There is no information on outdoor harvests, but you can expect this strain to prove its commercial potential if you grow it outside, too.

Flowering Time
The time that Critical Dawg spends in flower is reasonably short – 8-10 weeks depending on the phenotype and growing conditions. Outdoors, the buds are mature by early October.

Like any good Skunk descendant, Critical Dawg offers an absolutely rewarding experience if you grow her indoors, even if you have no prior experience. Outdoors, she’s suitable for many reasonably mild climates.

Plants don’t grow tall and stay manageable throughout the cycle.
